N-hega Releases NScan Version 1.70

N-hega has released a new version of the NScan automatic digitizing software.  The new software includes many bugfixes as well as new features including the ability to select multiple items, create a seam line and an imporved internal line finder. 

1. Multi-Select
   Users can now select multiple components of a piece (corners, lines, etc.) using the CTRL + click function. Multiple components can also be selected via a bounding box which selects everything in the region. The user may also hit tab to cycle between different objects (lines, drill holes, corners etc.) within in the box.

2. Seam Line
   The seam line tool allows users to create a seam line outside or inside of the piece along one curve, several curves, or the whole piece. Once the seam line process has been created it can be converted to a cutline.

3. Overlays
   The overlay tool allows the user to superimpose an image (scanned or image file) on top of a pattern piece. This feature allows for a clearer idea of the final product and allows for more details to be provided to the manufacturer.

4. New Internal Line Finder
   The internal line finder has been improved to find more deliberate lines, while ignoring stray marks, and also connecting lines where appropriate.

5. Create color image (Coming Soon)
   A new feature in NScan allows users to capture images in color using color scanners or the camera solution. This new feature allows users to share their designs in vibrant color.

6. Now Compatible with New File Formats

   • Audaces [DXF]
   • HPGL

Reminder: NScan version 1.70 uses a new NS file format which cannot be opened by older version of the NScan.
